The restaurant itself is a bit old, but very clean. The hygiene concept is implemented very conscientiously. The main courses were good and plentiful. The service was very attentive and friendly. Payment by card is not possible, but this will be pointed out at the beginning.

Simple kitchen with manageable menu. Good middle-class dishes are touted and exactly these are also served. We were very pleased with the friendly service and the speed. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the 70's, rustic. The lumberjack steak with fries and side salad we tasted. Finally, a sundae. Everything was great.

Monday, October 22, 2018 went out for dinner with the family here. We arrived around 6:15 pm in a warm welcome, good service very tasty soups and very tasty jägerteller. For this price the quality of the food and service is exceptionally good. An absolute must if you are in the area

Good home cooking with the ambience of the 90s. French fries crispy not too soft not too hard and exemplary, without salt! Loin tenderly cooked to the point.

We came to the Moselstube because of the very good reviews. Unfortunately we were completely disappointed! After counting 18 signs that you cannot pay with a card before we were seated (more information that you cannot pay with a credit card in the menu), I was a little surprised why so many people were sitting here. In addition to various schnitzel variations, there was also a season ticket. All schnitzel / steak dishes were either with 1 or 2 meat slices. The pumpkin soup from the season menu was just average, but over-salted. The lumberjack steak was dry, salty and not a highlight, the fries fried too short (but without salt). The salad with beans from the glass was just as 90s as the pub. Overall, the menu only consists of deep-frying, roasting and cooking spaetzle - why? The staff tried to be correct, but can not carry more than 2 plates - it all matched this very below average impression! Then prefer an ostrich restaurant in Piesport, there is more to offer on the culinary side!
